Chantal Strasburger

Chantal’s trajectory began at Washington University in St. Louis where she founded the (still running!) fashion magazine Armour and graduated with a BFA in Fashion Design and a minor in Mandarin. After college she moved to Brooklyn, New York where she wrote for Nylon Magazine and Teen Vogue and was an editor at Sweet—the first-ever media brand to launch on Snapchat Discover.

In 2017, Chantal fulfilled a life-long dream of moving to London, where she started Read Receipts—a custom hand-embroidery company—and freelanced for branding agency Redscout.

Chantal is now back in her hometown of Austin, Texas where Read Receipts and Send Moods are her day jobs and Chantal Ceramics is her night job. She also continues to freelance write and creative direct for companies like Bumble, Netflix, and Harry’s.

So if you ever need anything in the realm of embroidery, writing, or ceramics—she’s your gal :)
